| The Quarantine Station generated its own
power for many years. This was done only when there was a ship in
quarantine.
The staff who lived on the Quarantine Station used lanterns and wood-burning stoves when there was no power being generated. There was a laundry to handle the needs of the quarantine station. Highly contaminated laundry was burned. |
